Henrik, A Princess

Sartre, the existentialist philosopher, did not believe in a god, and in a play, wrote that "hell is other people." Late in his life, he pissed off many of his fans by claiming that, as he saw it, he, as a man, could only have come from a supreme creator. Doesn't really jibe, does it? He didn't care, he never hid from that contradiction. I like that in a person -- contradictions and the courage to stand by them.
