Comedy of Life

It never sounded like a good idea to her, but she went along for the ride. Wednesday night in a bar under the expressway and she met two guys, a recovered addict, and his straight-and-narrow friend from the Midwest. They proposed a threeway. There was no appeal. She had been there before and at no other time had the carnal rites made her feel more like a receptacle. Made her feel like a conduit for some latent homosexuality for two men who needed to be together without really screwing each other. No appeal. Yet there she was. Control taken away. Titillation removed. She hoped only that she would be the one who helped them finally recognize their love.
